Best dressed from the Emmy Awards

Last night TV’s greatest stars turned up to the 64th annual Emmy awards held in LA. The ceremony, hosted by American late night chat show host Jimmy Kimmel, was a brilliant kick start to the awards season.

Although a lot of brilliant shows were snubbed, the big winners from the night were the comedy show Modern Family, which picked up 4 awards.

Another show which went home happy was the amazing Homeland, whose leading stars Claire Danes and Damian Lewis won in their respective categories. The win by Homeland meant super-slick and stylish Mad Men failed to make history by becoming the first drama to win the top honor five years in a row.

There were no wins for Brit favourites Sherlock, Luther and The Hour, as all lost out in the mini-series category, but sunday night favourite Downton Abbey did scoop one gong, the legend Dame Maggie Smith, who was not in attendance.

Enough about the winners, who shined on the smoking hot LA red carpet…
