Model-of-the-moment, Cara Delevingne, has just proved her model credentials by being snapped as the cover girl of British Vogue’s March issue. The young 20 year old brit girl, who has just announced that she is moving in with fellow model, Georgia May Jagger, took to twitter to share her excitement, tweeting:  “Still can’t quite believe I have a British Vogue cover! Somebody pinch me!”

The IT girl graces the cover in a gorgeous on-trend monochrome Giorgio Armani dress, which is said to cost £10,405,  paired beautifully with classic smokey eyes and nude make-up. Obviously, her staple eyebrows were also out in full force in this bold navy and red themed shoot, shot by Maria Testino. It seems that the young model really can’t do anything wrong at the moment after not only fronting campaigns for both Chanel and Burberry, but also winning “Model of the Year” in December at the British fashion awards.

In the editor’s letter for the March edition of British Vogue, Alexandra Shulman (editor) said: “Cara is one of those girls who combines energy, wit, enthusiasm and the kind of edgy beauty that marks her out from the general pool of beautiful models.”

If the news wasn’t exciting enough as it is, it’s even more of an honour that Cara has been chosen for the March issue, which is a hugely important edition of the magazine due to the buzz of the world’s four most famous and celebrated fashion weeks.

We can’t wait to see where Cara’s career takes her next! Clearly this girl has a very exciting journey ahead of her.
