Going Global: Graduate Fashion Week Celebrates World Design

Director of Graduate Fashion Week, Martyn Roberts, has announced that Earls Court will host its first international showcase on June 3, featuring designs from 16 of the world’s most prestigious fashion universities.

Each school, from Parsons in New York to the Pakistan Institute of Fashion, will be represented by one graduate. Though not every designer will be able to attend in person, garments from each collection will be displayed for the showcase. The winning collection will be selected by a panel led by Vogue Italia’s Sara Maino.

The announcement follows last month’s restructuring of Graduate Fashion Week, implemented to attract greater attention from recruiters. The new and improved schedule will include days that focus on three or four awards, rather than announcing all the awards in one lengthier show at the end of the week.

We can’t wait to see what graduates from around the world have to offer.
