Grammy winner Sheryl Crow has been diagnosed with a benign brain tumour.

The singer started to notice problems in her memory showing that something was wrong, which influenced her to go and get checked out.

Crow’s representatives confirmed yesterday to E! News  that she had a common brain tumour called meningioma.

“[Crow] has no symptoms and everything is fine. It was a random mention during the [Vegas] interview. It was not meant to alarm anyone. She is doing great and is healthy and happy.”

At the height of her career Sheryl was previously diagnosed with breast cancer, which she successfully fought after a mammogram detecting it in the early stages.

However, Crow has remained in good spirits despite the diagnosis of the tumour.  Speaking at her concert in Florida, she told the fans:

 “I’m 50, what can I say? My brain’s gone to s**t.”
