Sir Bruce is Concerned for Britain’s Got Talent’s Youngsters

Our favourite TV veteran Sir Bruce Forsyth has claimed that Britain’s Got Talent is an ‘ordeal’ for several young contestants, and that it leaves many of them in tears.

The 85-year-old has attacked Simon Cowell following Saturday’s show, made up of several acts as young as five.

One young girl in dance group ‘Pre-Skool’ (above) started to cry as she waited for the judges’ verdict.

However, a spokesperson for the show has reassured the public that ‘the welfare of all contestants is our number one priority and we have stringent procedures in place relating to children who appear in our programmes. Children are accompanied by a member of their family or a guardian at all times and a psychologist is on hand at all auditions.”

Do you think Britain’s Got Talent should have an age restriction? We want to hear your thoughts below.
