Wondering what beauty trends are en vogue this season? Here’s a round up of some of the biggest beauty trends this Autumn/Winter. Kiss goodbye to those beauty blues!

  • The statement lip colour:

Add a burst of colour to your make up: this season the red lip is back and bigger than ever. Opt for a strong red lip, or alternatively, for a more subtle, long lasting colour try a lip stain.

  • The renovated smoky eye:

A modern twist on a classic look. Use vibrant block colours instead of black/grey tones to create smoky eyes. Don’t worry about being too precise; experiment with a range of colours and techniques until you find something that works well for your skin tone.

  •  The graphic eyeliner:

Graphic eyeliner is huge this season, so why not add a sexy twist to your eyes with dramatic feline flicks. If you aren’t a fan of heavy black liner, swap it for another colour. Spotted: blue eyes have been in Anna Sui’s amazing catwalk show.

  • The bold brows:

Be a little more daring and try statement brows. Use an eyebrow pencil and trace the natural shape of your brows, whilst adding colour and volume. Make sure you blend the edges well, to ensure that you won’t be left with a harsh outline!

  • The bare faced beauty:

The most important thing to remember for this trend, is less is always more! Keep it simple by switching your foundation for a tinted moisturiser, and strong lip colours for neutral tones. Keep your locks well-conditioned, so they can retain their natural shine.

  • The grunge goddess:

Think faded make up, messy buns and smoky eyes. The trend is all about the ‘morning after the night before’ look- something we never imagined being fashionable! Use your fingers to create sultry, smoky eyes and blot off any excess lip colour for a smudged effect.
