To raise awareness and money for national domestic violence charity Refuge, make-up brand Benefit Cosmetics has organised a charity ‘Mascarathon’ from Scotland to London, taking place accross 5 dates and 5 cities (Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Oxford) from the 15-29 June.  In each city centre there will be a party ‘Benefit Style’ with a range of consumer areas for runners and friends to visit, including make-up stations and sample giveaways.

Caroline Flack is fronting the campaign and will be running the first two miles and Donna Air and Zoe Salmon are also confirmed to take part.  Every two miles that each of the Mascarathon runners complete will mark the two women a week whose lives are lost because of domestic violence. By raising awareness and funds for vital domestic violence services, Benefit and Refuge will be able to reach out to many thousands more women who need support.
