Introducing Bonjay, a new duo of high-hat deep synth funk.

With self-released mini-album, “Broughtupsy,” about growing up around different musical influences, it seems like Bonjay was formed from a mold of technologic teachers.  With Alanna Stuart on the mic —rocking a deeper M.I.A. Meets Lauryn Hill sound — and Pho on beats & effects, their live performances are a heart pounding sound system of bass and soul.

Alanna almost became an RnB starlet but instead opted for a grimey, indie route towards what eventually was Bonjay.

Their single, Stumble/Creepin, is out in June. They’re set to play The Great Escape and a handful of UK dates in May. You can hear 10 tracks at or see the video below.
