Glee’s creator, Ryan Murphy has revealed that he would cancel Glee if Lea Michele decided she could no longer continue on the tv series after the death of her fiance, Cory Monteith.

Ryan told E! News earlier this week, “If Lea had said to me, ‘I could never do this again, and I don’t want to do this again,’ you know, she is sort of the show, so what do you do? And I would’ve, out of respect to her as a person, said ‘OK,'” Ryan then went on to explain that Lea had never thought about quitting the show and was careful about putting other people’s jobs on the line.

Glee will return for three episodes in which all storylines involving Cory’s character of Finn have been approved by Lea. Following the three episodes, there will be a long hiatus. Scroll down to find out what if Finn will be killed off.

Glee’s writers have taken the brave decision to not recast Finn. There will be an episode dealing with the death of Finn followed by a long hiatus.
