Kim K’s Courtroom Divorce Drama

This week sees the long-awaited trail of  Kim Kardashian’s divorce to estranged hubby, Kris Humphries begin in court.

But the messy proceedings haven’t been helped by recent media bouts from both parties, with catty remarks and legal lingo concealing a full-on war.

The drama started with the new release of a hybrid song video from Kim new beau Kanye West, collaborating with DJ Khaled and Rick Ross on ‘I Wish You Would / Cold’.

Mixing in his scandalous lyrics from his single, ‘Cold’ (née ‘Theraflu’) Kim makes a not-so-subtle cameo smouldering sexily behind Mr. West’s cloak. Strategic placement would be an understatement here, as KK appears during the lyrics where Kanye announces he fell for Kim during her relationship with basketballer ex, Kris Humphries– and the line where West implies that he could’ve had Humphries removed from the New York Jets.

Kanye’s pal and Watch The Throne collaborator, Jay-Z is a minority shareholder at the team, as the rapper’s lyrics spell out:

“I’ll admit I fell in love with Kim around the same time she had fell in love with him/

“Well, that’s cool, baby girl, do you thing / Lucky I ain’t have Jay drop him from the team.”

Kim’s entry on cue with Kanye’s diss of his girl’s ex is blatant to say the least, but that’s not the only heel-digging going on in this break up…

Lawyers from camp Humphries have been outspoken about the compliance of– or lack thereof– Kardashian’s legal team during the proceedings, that have taken an unholy 4 months to get to trial!

With accusations of non-responsive behaviour and delays thrown from both sides, it’s Humphries that has delivered the first blow by calling Kanye West to the  trial as a witness. With 33 witnesses in total arranged to defend Humphries’ case that the marriage was a ‘sham’ and that his wife never planned on going through with it, Kardashian’s seemingly bitter ex has his work cut out for him!

Kim has recently expressed her frustration at Kris dragging his heels in the divorce settlement, and has promised that outtakes of her reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York will show the pro-basketball player for what he really is: a “manipulative, vindictive, petty, fame-hungry jerk.” Meow!

“Kris is the first person I ever had to break-up with and that f**ked with my emotions… He told our producers he would destroy my career and me if the show wasn’t edited right.”  Wow!

Though desperate to divorce and find closure from her whirlwind 72 day marriage to Humphries, it seems that this week’s trial will reveal all on what Humphries has wanted to prove, the truth behind the dissolution of their marriage, and what Kanye’s role seems to be in Kim and Kris’ divorce drama.
