Lindsay Lohan Wants To Help Children…

It’s a classic example of good PR.

After failing to have the charges from her June car accident dismissed, Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer Mark Heller held an impromptu press conference, and revealed that Lindsay is still trying to turn herself around and will do so by helping autistic children at a New York City school.

(He refused to disclose which school, because “she’s certainly not going to alert the media.”)

This would not be the first time that Lindsay has helped an organisation that works with autistic children. In 2006, the actress held a star-studded beach party for a group of autistic children after she ruined one of their outings by blocking their access to a surfing day with her car.

And in an even more desperate attempt to right the wrongs of Lohan, her lawyer also promised to set up a charitable foundation in Lindsay’s name, and insisted that LiLo would be visiting schools to give motivational speeches to children:

“Lindsay will [be] participating in intensive psychotherapy, submitting herself to regular screenings and contributing her time to the production of Public Service messages and periodic visits to schools hospitals and other venues where she may provide inspirational talks, encouraging children to pursue positive goals and avoid bad habits.”

Even more bizarrely, Heller then appealed to the “good conscious” of the prosecution, asking for their help to “fix” Lindsay.

If you say so, Marky.
