Kate Moss stuns in American label Rag & Bone’s S/S 2013 campaign. The supermodel appeared in their Autumn 2012 campaign but was shot this time in her hometown of Southrop, Gloucestershire.

The shoot was photographed by Alasdair McLellan and the theme was inspired by the British heritage of the label’s two creatives: Marcus Wainwright and David Neville. Moss looks relaxed and spirited in the shots which features examples of the label’s fine tailoring infused with British elegance. ‘The spirit of the images is definitely consistent with the first campaign.’ said Neville ‘We got lucky with the natural light on the day and captured some cool, natural smiling shots of Kate in her home environment.’

Moss sports a lush green jacket, and a neat white blazer in the village setting which emphasises the distinction between the two campaigns ‘We shot our first campaign on a deserted North London street so thought it would be an interesting contrast to follow up in a remote English village, which Kate happens to have an affinity for. It was also a fun play on our British heritage,’ explains Marcus Wainwright.

It seems like Kate Moss has captured the essence of Rag & Bone’s cool simplicity and may well go on to continue to represent its spirit.
