If, like me, your Monday nights are a barren entity of nail-painting and magazine-flicking with the loss of Made In Chelsea from our screens then fear not fellow sufferers– we have a little helping of Chelsea charm to tide us over ’til season four of the reality show.

When Spencer Matthews was unveiled as the follow-up bachelor to Gavin Henson for Channel 5’s series, we automatically expected big drama from the playboy character portrayed on E4’s Made In Chelsea; notorious for his more-than-friends relationship with Caggie Dunlop, and the recent love triangle dilemma with Louise Thompson and Jamie Laing on the show.

However, a recent interview with the London stock-broker has revealed that he is an old romantic with his Valentine’s Day efforts, is more of a Nandos man behind the facade of Michelin-star restaurants of Made In Chelsea and is (luckily) not leaving the E4 show that brought him to our screens in spite of rumours of him leaving because of The Bachelor— phew!

So, with bated breaths we waited for the first of out Friday night doses of rivalry, romance and bitchyness with our new favourite Chelsea chap. Will you be tuning in GDers?

The Bachelor started last night (Friday 29 June) @ 10pm on Channel 5.
