When you think of Chanel, you think of pearls, quilted handbags, the famed No. 5 perfume, the LBD and of course, the Chanel suit. Karl Lagerfeld has gone and indulged us all, with the help of Carine Roitfeld, by producing ‘The Little Black Jacket’ exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery.

This photographic exhibition is simply yet beautifully presented, with stunning images of the Chanel jacket modeled by various lovers of the house, each capturing the versatility of the brand and its ability to transcended time. The models and celebrities include Lily Donaldson, Anna Wintour, Sarah Jessica Parker, Alexa Chung, Georgia May Jagger and Elizabeth Olsen, each interpreting the jacket in a different way.

In the words of Coco Chanel ‘fashion fades, only style remains the same’. Her words couldn’t ring truer.

Get down to the Saatchi Gallery before the exhibition closes to the public on Sunday 28th October 2012. Admission is free and they are giving away complimentary posters.
