X Factor 2011: Have we already found our winner?

The highly anticipated X Factor auditions of 2011 has finally hit our screens, as has the greatly speculated new judging panel, consisting of Kelly Rowland (solo artist and previous member of girl band Destiny´s Child), Tulisa Contostavlos of hip hop group N-Dubz, Gary Barlow (member of the legendary pop group Take That) and music manager Louis Walsh. Have our new judges already found their winner? Let us take a look at some of the unforgettable (but also pretty predictable) auditions so far.

The sob story contestant

Jade Richards from Scotland has already won over the nation through her cover of Adele´s Someone Like You. Bringing the judges and audience to tears, Jade has been tipped to go far in the show. But were we crying at the soothing sounds of her voice or just the fact that her emotional nan was watching from the sidelines, wheelchair bound?

The deluded rocker

You can´t deny that X Factor brings us the same type of contestant every year. Last year, Storm Lee disturbed our screens with his fiery red hair. This year, we are presented with David Wilder,  unfortunately convinced by the fact that he is 20 years old rather than 42, fist pumping included.

The singer-rapper

A big girl with a big voice. At last, Misha Bryan has brought something to the UK comparable to that of Nicki Minaj.  And her rendition of Respect beats Cher Lloyd´s audition, hands down.

The boyband

Surprise surprise: another boyband, another well rehearsed audition. The Keys wowed their female audience with an acapella version of Aloe Blacc´s I Need a Dollar in harmonious perfection. But do they have One Direction potential?

The shocker

Last year, we had Tesco´s Mary shock our audience with her version of a Tom Jones classic. This year, Johnny Robinson, whose name almost resembles his somewhat simple personality, wowed us all with his heartfelt rendition of At Last. We hope that his talent will save him from               his Harrow bedsit.

Let us know your opinions on the auditions so far, and whether you think this year´s judging panel  beats the last. Simon Cowell who?
