Shocking celeb splits:

This week started with news of more celebrity couples that have bought a one way ticket to Splitsville. Following the numerous splits that have been announced since the beginning of 2012, now super-strong couple Heidi Klum and Seal have announced their separation after six years of marriage.

Project Runway host and supermodel Heidi and sexy singer Seal announced in a statement: “While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul searching we have decided to separate.”

“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.”

The couple, who have four children together and Heidi’s daughter from a previous relationship, seemed to have a rock-solid partnership. They were often spotted looking incredibly loved-up at fancy dress parties and renewed their vows each year on their anniversary.

Back on British soil, it has been reported that X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has split from fellow N-Dubz member Fazer following a series of rows on holiday.

The 23-year-old singer and X Factor judge reportedly moved out of their North London flat to stay with PA Gareth Varey. The couple have known each other since they were 11 when they formed the band N-Dubz, and with her new found place on the X Factor judging panel they decided to keep their relationship as quiet as possible. As her fame grew they began to admit their relationship and were spotted cosying up to each other on numerous occasions.

They have insisted that no other people were involved in the split and close sources report that there is a strong chance they may get back together.

Celebrity Big Brother ‘Pantsgate’:

Beginning the week, there was the super dramatic ‘Pantsgate’ (or ‘trousergate’ in our English terminology) in Channel 5’s second series of Celebrity Big Brother. Loose Women’s Denise Welch has never denied her love for flashing her top half pre-Big Brother, and throughout her time in the house she has bared more than just her soul after getting topless in the hot tub with Frankie Cocozza and now supposedly causing one of the biggest arguments in Big Brother history!

The girls, consisting of Playboy twins Karissa and Kristina, ex page 3 model Nicola McLean and the loveable Denise Welch, were enjoying a girls night with wine and music until Denise caused a stir. As Big Brother pumped the classic tune of ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ into the living area, a tipsy Denise jokily pulled down Karissa’s pyjama trousers, revealing, well, nothing we haven’t seen before!

The 22 year old Playboy model told Denise “I’ll forgive you tomorrow but I’m p*ssed off” before marching into the garden exclaiming: “B*tch! Denise just pulled my pants down. She apologised but it’s not OK.”

However, this was only the beginning of the whole Pantsgate affair. Karissa stormed into the Diary Room and threatened to sue Big Brother and quit the show.

Karissa complained: “She knows I’m one of the most reserved people in the house, I’m the classy woman of the house. I do not do that type of stuff.”

“I’m not cool with that so I’m going to sue you guys. I don’t flash my ass, or flash my tits, I feel disrespected.”

“You’re going to show that, and I’m going to sue you for it, so I want to leave now. I’m serious.”

Within minutes most of the housemates had become heavily involved in the argument, Nicola McLean also threatened to quit after sticking up for the twins and arguing with Denise, telling her she was too old to frolic around with 19 year old boys in the hot tub!

Former X Factor contestant Frankie Cocozza stuck up against the three girls and defended Denise in her fun-loving actions, which led to the twins telling Big Brother that he was ‘sexually harrassing’ them.

If you didn’t get the chance to watch this epic Celebrity Big Brother episode, I would highly recommend watching it on Catch-Up!

Amanda Holden gives birth:

Also at the beginning of the week it was rumoured that 8 months pregnant Amanda Holden had gone into labour with her second child during filming of Britain’s Got Talent. As no news emerged it seemed that this may have just been rumours, however husband Chris Hughes confirmed that his 40-year-old wife had undergone an emergency Caesarean on Monday to deliver baby girl Hollie Rose.

Poor Amanda was not allowed to see her new daughter for three days following the birth and was heavily sedated in intensive care and was in ‘a critical condition’. Husband Chris praised NHS nurses for saving his wife and baby girl’s lives in a heartfelt thank you.

A source told the Daily Mail: “It was a life threatening situation. There was  huge loss of blood and Amanda had to have a number of transfusions. She lost several pints of blood.”

The couple have six-year-old daughter Lexi and after suffering a traumatic miscarriage at seven months pregnant in February 2011, they will be delighted at the safe birth of Hollie Rose. Congrats!

Demi Moore hospitalised:

Actress and recently single Demi Moore has been taken to hospital where she is being treated for ‘exhaustion’.  The 49-year-old actress officially split from husband Ashton Kutcher in November after he allegedly cheated on her on their wedding anniversary, and she has since spoken out about her insecurities following the separation.

Speaking to Harpers Bazaar, Bruce Willis’ ex said: “I would say what scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m really not lovable, that I’m not worthy of being loved.”

Moore’s decision to seek hospital treatment has forced her to drop out from her new role as a feminist in a Linda Lovelace biopic, and while Demi battles her demons Ashton continues to party most nights.
